Welcome to another week of Paige rambling about nothing important. I'll start having more exciting things to talk about soon.... Like my completed final project... and graduating... and moving to Florida. But for this week, I only have a few things to tell ya'll.
First, I went running today. I had no pockets so I stuck my house key in my sports bra. I was HOT and I got sunburned and THIS happened to my key (it is bent from being so hot if you can't tell what the photo is showing). That's actually not as bad as it was... I was stomping on it outside my house for a while trying to get it straight enough to unlock my door, and then I took a picture of it. Alright, that's a wrap for Pointless Story #1. Moving on.

Pointless Story #2: I went to Market Basket. I hadn't really heard of Market Basket. I think I've seen one and for some reason I wouldn't have thought it was a grocery store. But there is a new Market Basket that just opened in Biddeford, the town next to me. Everyone is SO excited about its opening. I decided to see what all the fuss was about. It is a nice store, I guess. I think it just seems nice because it is a brand new building so everything is new and clean and fresh. Otherwise it just reminds me of a Hy-Vee. I'm not really sure why everyone is so excited about it or what makes it better than Hannaford, the grocery store that I go to. One thing I noticed was, in my opinion, the poor interior design choices. For a brand new store, I would think the designers could have came up with a better color combination than cream and hospital-pink. Unless those are the "theme colors" for all Market Baskets and they had no choice? Amy Edmondson.. what is that thing called they use in hospitals that you based one of your medical design projects off of? An emesis basin? THAT'S what this color reminds me of.

This photo popped up on one of the Twitter accounts I follow. It is a restaurant in Switzerland. It reminds me of exactly the place my family went to when we took that train to the top of a mountain while we were in Switzerland.

Okay, now I'll show you something a little more interesting.... in my opinion. I decided to go on a walk this afternoon with my camera to take some photos of MY interpretation of "what Maine is"... When I think of Maine 20 years from now, what will first come to my mind? Some people think "lobster," some people think "lighthouses," some people think of the forestation, etc.. But what will I remember most? And I can definitely say it will be the coastline. The rock formations. That's what I wanted to take some pictures of. So I'll share them with you. I intend to have one of them canvas-wrapped for a piece of art in Devin and my new apartment. IF that's okay with Devin, of course :)

Goodnight everyone.
